Normally I would agree. The issue is GN documented gross incompetence (or even malice) at many levels. So is their accounting staff better? Possibly, I just can't bet on that at this point.

In my late 20s, about 5 years ago, I did a MSc in EE. Most undergrad fags were watching ltt and parroting his bs.
They forced me to watch one of his tech videos about a gpu and it was literally a box-text reading 10 min ranting. 0 technical depth.
Clueless young people who are trapped in the sandbox of a homoerotic reality.
They grew up watching ltt, I grew up shitposting on semi|accurate's forums, reading charlie's wooden screws articles dressed in bunny costumes (no furry).

I'm more inclined to believe her in this instance since I do believe there isn't much reason to lie about something like this. And for all intents and purposes, I am willing to give Madison here the benefit of the doubt since by comparison, we have to deal with "we didn't sell it we auctioned it" from LMG. I'm not surprised at all by the prospect of this place being a sweatshop to work at, especially with how "manufactured" the "goofy" and fun atmosphere these diverse checklist places try to push. It's something I've seen repeated over and over again (most recently with super mega and game grumps)

Only a few seconds in but the guy is legit PC-wise. I remember the days of the Mendocino overclock hype train and how it didn't really pan out for a lot of users. By the time most people had their Swiftech peltier setups they realized not only could a lot of the chips not hit 450 reliably, all that money they spent on cooling accessories and condensation-proofing their motherboards meant thry were just a stone's throw away from a bona fide PII 450.
But it was good times. Sharky Extreme and Anandtech forums filled with high IQ proto-shitposters risking 1000$ of PC gear for the lulz.

Linus approaches management exactly like you'd expect a narcissist to do. Running people hard and relying on their personal attraction to him and his brand.
Awkward nerdy guys do not understand social etiquette and the chances of them saying/doing something stupid exponentially increases when you introduce women into the workplace.

If I was a betting man I'd say that outside of a drop in views/sub/revenue in the short term and this whole thing mostly blows over. The problems that GN put a spotlight on are massive but aren't exactly company destroying, the most damming thing they outlined is calling LTT's relationship with tech corporation/individuals but it's not like GN actually accused them of anything. In fact I'd argue that GN breezed by that pretty fast, probably because there isn't hard proof of anything in particular and that kind of accusation needs real hard evidence.
For a reviewer trust is the most important thing, if you can't be trusted to give correct info then you have no purpose and no one will watch anything you put out. The thing about trust is that it takes years of hard work to earn but is broken in minutes, as we can all see. Contrary to popular believe you can earn that trust back for the most part but that isn't always a grantee. It all depends on how you lost it in the first place, it might sound crazy but incompetence is easier to forgive than corruption. LTT could bounce back but it'll takes far more work to earn it's trust back than it did earning it in the first place.
I'd take a wait and see approach to whether any of the promises made in that "apology" video come to fruition. It's not like LTT couldn't do any of these things but it requires them to stop hyper focusing on the YouTube algorithm and the massive amounts of money that come with gaming it that hard. That's a big if but not imposable.
Now I could be wrong. the Madison stuff might all be real or maybe we get proof that LTT is in someone's pocket but if this is it then don't expect to be dancing on LTT's grave anytime soon.
