I think this is why I find him so particularly contemptible. Most of the other prominent Twitter AGPs in "respectable" positions, although they are loathsome misogynists, show some sort of self-respect and consistency, or at least they attempt it.

Joe starts by scolding any follower who might dare insult Martina (because he thinks he has a chance at flattering her) and then when he fails to win her over with his manly intellect, he lashes out childishly and insults her himself. What does he think underpins a woman's "consent" to being raped if not the threat of violence?
