Yeah, it's real easy to stream at any and all hours until you have 7 conflicting schedules and surprise required maintenance on a vehicle that you're using to drive 300 miles, towing a trailer, to bring 12 people home in the middle of the night after they've been 3000 miles away.

This is the kind of number-stuffing I used to do in my excuses as a kid whenever I missed a homework deadline or otherwise failed to uphold my responsibilities. And it sounds just as childish and duty-dodging as I did. But I was 16, not a father of five with business interests.

His top failure seems to be expectation management. The good news is that’s relatively easy to fix and he would get bonus points from viewers for owning his shit. “If you take the blame, they’ll give you the benefit of the doubt” is true.

Maybe if Nick posted "hey, I am away on X dates due to Y" on all his platforms, he would have a better leg to stand on. This is basic stuff. He even used to do it! Instead, now he might mention it offhand somewhere in the middle of hours of streaming content and then snap at people who didn't hear it and ask him.

To be fair, he wasn't really good at it back then either. You would usually get a tweet half an hour before the stream was supposed to start saying that he was feeling particularly flaccid that night and couldn't do the show. I'm not sure if that got better with Locals or not as it was supposed to with everything in one place, but I doubt it.

This is scathing. I didn't really check the CCVs (concurrent/live views) at the same time but from what I remember, Nick was pulling 3000+, Vice 1000+, Mindset 100+. Vice had a panel of rotating 3+ guests, Nick had 1 guest for a couple hours and then I think went solo for the rest before I went to sleep while Mindset was going solo but was doing a gimmick where he snipes all the other streamers while roasting them (He actually said some truths that would rile Nick up if this was said in a more serious context...wish it got clipped). But really, the CCV to superchats ratio is bad sign for Nick.
