He is certainly the most spectacular failure I have ever seen.
There are other famous and semi famous people who are said to be failures, but they tend to at least get work and will probably be able to retire ok.
Then there are people who are just fucked up failures who end up on the needle, huffing glue, living in abandoned warehouses or shanty towns and perish, no one hears about them because they are just fuck ups, so who gives a shit.
Fatrick is both a fucked up failure who will end up on the streets, sucking from a bottle, and "people" have at least heard of him.
Patrick S Tomlinson, bad Si-fi novel writer is substantially more well known than "that junkie fucker who begs for pocket change, collects cans and wanders around skid row when high".

A then B. Nikki leaves to escape the crippling debt and constant childing from Fatrick. In a deep depression and fueled but several cases of Bud Light, Tits Mcgee grills a whole pack of Bubba burgers because that's the only thing he can afford. In his drunken stupor, he doesn't remove the burgers from the packaging. This ultimately burn down the pigsty and his neighbor's house creating even more legal woes for fatty.
Fat is too proud to do that. He is a super serious actual tough guy who will rock your shit if you misrepresent him as portly or rotund. Like most cows he could make some make some money from his notoriety but that would require introspection that he isn't capable of. That's pride fucking with him.

I've been listening to it during my commute and now I'm a lot less excited about the documentary.
Porsalin is a funny guy, but he got a LOT of details wrong. Mostly small stuff when considered by themselves, but very important in the sense that they can be shine a light on the many cracks in Pat's "Good Guy Chosen at Random" persona.
For instance, he said " [the Rascals] got his number multiple times. I think he's had to cancel his number and change it many times. I don't know how they do it".
Pat has never changed his number. Never. Not even once. And he outright says he will NEVER do it because that'd would be letting the idiots win. And after all, as he used to put as his twitter profile: he'd "rather be right than happy."
I know it sounds like a stupid small detail, but it is one of the MANY unconceivable things Pat does that give normal people pause, and will make an otherwise 100% sympathetic audience go "huh... weird. Ok, maybe there's more to this story then this poor innocent victim is telling us. Let's dig deeper". It sounds small but remember that Pat's whole schtick (in fact, his entire world) depends on the fact that no one should ever be allowed to question even a single fact in Mama Raven's Special Boy's narrative.
That is exactly what all those reporters and all of those Pat-defending-zombies on twitter failed to do:
"Do the minimum of your jobs!! GO! AND NEVER RETURN!"

Could you elaborate on why you think he's all these things? All I know is he was an OG in the Old ONA forum and that people found out he was using alts to "toot his own horn".
