They are basically metabolic disorders of the brain, and like other metabolic disorders like heart disease and diabetes, reducing carbs and seed oils works to keep the symptoms at bay. Keto is also good at halting the progression of osteoarthritis.
Personally, I feel absolutely amazing when I stick to carnivore. My mood is elevated, but not manic. My anxiety is completely gone, and my thinking is clear and sharp. I'm hoping to eventually be able to come off all my meds.
I would love to see a study on trannies going keto instead of on hormones for a few months. I would wager that they'd see their symptoms lesson or disappear entirely. It seems like the standard American diet causes all kinds of the standard American diseases. Carnivore was essentially the diet all humans were on before they discovered agriculture. Fifty years ago people ate red meat, butter, other whole foods, and didn’t have the issues everyone has today.
this could be wrong of course, but my doctor gave me some blood type food book a while ago, and the recipes for my type all happened to be my favorite foods that make me feel the best, and the other blood type foods were unappealing
i also asked some friends and family what their blood type and favorite food choices were, and they also coincidentally matched with what the book said
it would be good to consider either way, you wouldn't want someone to eat too much meat when they should be having lentils/eggs/dairy or the other way around
edit: was this really that dumb? can someone explain? i thought this was legit
