My bet is that when it impacted his monetary gain, he could shut his trap and take it. With the contract and no need to grift do hard, he is able to act more like he feels. By his own admission he has been acting his whole life to be 'someone [he] is not' for '20 fucking years'.
He knows where the bread is buttered and will toe the line where he needs to for gain, but inwardly seethe.
Nick seems to think he has outgrown the need for the façade, and now that it has cracked, there is no retreat.

I was expecting this to happen as soon as he signed it back in December. His rants leading up to the contract were about him being his own boss, he's worked too hard for someone to tell him what to do.

He hid his degeneracy very well (or it wasn't as developed as it is now) and expressed opinions and viewpoints that a majority of the people in this sektur tend to agree with.
Which is to say, until somewhat recently, he's never had to experience harsh criticism and pushback on a wide front. All criticism prior was easily dismissible because it tended to come from unlikable people who just toed the establishment line (SJWs, lefties, or whatever you wanna call them).
He's likely always been this way, but the conditions weren't ripe for it to become apparent to everyone.

Nick didn't need thick skin with the supports he had in place and lack of direct focus on him. There seemed to be plenty of people who would go to bat for him (which peaked with the Youtube/Twitter debacle), and he was on good terms with KF. Nick doesn't have the same supports now as he did back then. Fewer people are defending him and most are, at best, glossing over his idiocy. Nick is more vulnerable now, he knows it, and it shows.
For example, Nick's message to Kiwi Farms in November 2022 came out very quickly after the infamous bottle-butt pictures because Nick considered KF important enough to address publicly (and as soon as possible). It hurt Nick to know that KF might mock him. Nick then had the bright idea to try and gaslight people into thinking the people on KF were the ones who needed his approval. Funny stuff.
If Nick were thick-skinned he wouldn't have had to be so dishonest/selective about who he was/is and could just be himself without embellishment. Nick was likely always this thin-skinned and growing his ego and loss of support have just made it worse.

He basically made the same mistake Dick Masterson did. He conflated being shown a certain amount of respect with being invincible.
What he should have learned from Masterson is that the Farms will turn on you if your demeanor shifts into that of totally degenerate lolcow.
The Farms didn't change in November. It just became patently obvious to most people that he had.
Pretty much sums up Rekieta right there.
Things he resent
His kids irritates him -expectating him to be a father
His detractors hates him -expectating authenticity
Stream legal trials -expectating casual law splaining (what happened to that now?)
Youtube -expecting him to stick to Terms of Service
Rumble -expectations to adhere to contract
That $5,000 gift he's been working on -expectating of fulfillment of promise
Minnesota -expecting him to fit in
Legal work -expecting him to be professional
His wife's body -expecting him to love the same woman regardless (I don't know like a marriage vow?)
Sounds llike accountability problem to me.

He used to be alot better about dealing with criticism and critics. But something happened over the last nine months and its like he has lost a step mentally. He is alot more angry, impulsive and thin-skinned than he used to be. He is generally humorless and seems upset about everything. Even things that have nothing to do with critics like when he went off and exploded about jury analysis streams. As well (opinion) it goes hand in hand with his physical decay. He just doesn't even look like the same person anymore.

I believe this is almost undoubtedly the case.
What I don't get is why he tried to hide who he is for so long? Did pandering to the more traditional crowd do better numbers on YouTube? Does it go back to him having to please his catholic parents? Whatever the reason may be I think it's safe to say, NICK LOVES TO PRANCE AROUND IN HIS UNDERWEAR IN FRONT OF GAY MEN.

Mindset himself I suspect is quite the lolcow, but he's flown way underneath the radar for too long. This aggressive retelling of internet commentary is very enlightening. Maybe he thinks he is next. Has Mindset managed to craft a following of his own beyond the incestuous bunch he borrows from Nick's base? If not, then that leaves him quite vulnerable to whatever happens in Nick's corner if they're sharing the same audiences since he clearly can't separate his own cow behavior from Nick's.Was about to post this. Grade A copium from Drex and Mindset. tl;dw for everyone:
- you're all (Farms directly addressed) hate watchers who are foaming at the mouth constantly
- Drex still gets tagged in Sean's (Potentially Criminal) server; gets called a groomer lol (they don't directly blame it on the Farms though)

- if you're not showing your face and just use an avatar, you're a pussy and should get bent (boomer Branca moment from Mindset)
- according to Drex, all of the biggest detractors have anime voices uwu
- everyone is so cruel to Nick
- according to Mindset everyone going after Nick sees him as "the god that betrayed them"
- also according to Mindset people are only going after them because they must be over the target/telling The Truth™ and people, both liberals and conservatives are BIG ANGY over it

The "woe is me I'm so burned out on streaming" shit has gotten beyond tiresome. It might play with the unemployed bpd wine moms in Locals but for anyone who actually works, it's infuriating. You sit at a computer for, what, 4 hours a night between Rumble and Locals?, 12 days a month? So 48 hours a month or so, you have to sit on the computer and drink and talk. Must be really hard and oh so fucking tiring to "work" less in a month than many people do in a week. Just exhausting, I'm sure. I try to still enjoy the streams but holy fuck I genuinely get mad at the internet every time he starts complaining about having less weekly work than the average part time burger flipper.
