None of the hypotheticals they come up with are real or are ever going to happen. They read too much YA lit and manga and think that the thought experiments begged by Ranma 1/2 in anyway might be something to mull over in real life.

I always laugh whenever they use the movie Freaky Friday(a fictional movie mind you)for their dumb argument"If you woke up one day inside another person's body,you would have dysphoria about it."when first off it'll never be possible.Secondly,even on the off chance it did then unless a gendered soul existed there would be no way for me to have memories of a past self that i once was.My new brain wouldn't know about a body that it was never a part of.Lastly,trans people don't have a past body that they were born with and it somehow got replaced with a new body.Unless you subscribe to reincarnation.

Someone's probably answered this already but I wanted to jump on with a theory.
As a small woman myself you develop small-dog syndrome as a matter of course. People will and do just randomly pick you up as a joke but you realise early on that you have no bodily autonomy because everyone (including larger women) is a potential threat and you can be overpowered at any moment. No clothes fit off the rack so until you learn to hem and sew and dress yourself properly (or give up and dress in kids sizes) you end up looking dowdy and genderless without trying, especially in office wear or anything formal. Even if you're good looking you're more likely to be called "cute" than "beautiful" or overlooked (literally) altogether. To add insult to injury you have to work very hard to be taken seriously because you're roughly the same height and build as the average middle schooler.
It's extremely demeaning and frustrating and until you learn how to deal with it and compensate it's actually quite difficult, especially in professional settings.
I feel like most vertically-challenged women grow out of their fear, work as hard as they need to for respect, and develop a thicker skin but it's definitely a process and I'd imagine our dear pooners here thought that being "a man" would fix the lack of agency they feel in their lives by virtue of height and relative tinyness (also the coom). This only makes the problem worse, ofc.
I imagine the same goes for Hons only opposite: they don't like the way the world treats them as a big honkin man and would rather be tiny waifs.
Both just end up looking fucking stupid.

Well, cults do hate it when someone is deprogrammed from the cult and leaves it. It's very telling because it seems to be a major thorn in their side that a trans person stops being trans.
