Actually, using my minimal knowledge of French an ever better name would be Sophie Poubelle, French for garbage can--which is fitting because Sophie claims she ate from garbage cans that time she was homeless for six hours. And because Sophie looks like a lost Garbage Pail Kid.

3. What makes you think people don't? Why don't you go challenge you're internalized cisphobia? Why not stopping banning people who ask questions and let yourself be challenged on your beliefs? Practice what you preach.

I'm a little late but honestly, this comic just irks me so much. I'll pick apart every single panel like some of you guys have done because there is legit something in every panel that pisses me off.
1. I'm autistic and can laugh at autism jokes on occasion. Grow up. You're incredibly autistic Labelle if you can't fucking take a joke.
2. Isn't your comic aimed at CHILDREN? Children cannot fucking comprehend gender and LGBT issues. Most children are cis. The only character in a children's book that I can think of that is possibly trans or "gender non-conforming" is George (Georgina) from The Famous Five series. Even then her character is presented in a way children will understand (she's presented as a girl who acts and dresses like a boy, yet goes to an all girls boarding school).
3. Is this your way of trying to indoctrinate people into your cult, Labelle? I have friends who are transgender but at least they are actually trans and not fake trans like most of your cult that followed you from tumblr to facebook.
4. Money isn't a cis privilege. THERE are plenty of transgender people that work comfortable jobs in which they earn money. You just can't be fucked getting a real job which is why you seem to think money is a cis privilege.

Also, transgenders and "gender nonconforming" are so statistically irrelevant that their absence in any story or context just goes totally unnoticed for normal people, like in real life.
Also, if you have to create a character that will end up having only one trait (the "i'm transgender" trat, thus making the character flat as fuck as much as Billie's ceations) just to fill minority quotas you are a bad writer, period.
