Interestingly enough, Rommel was an early admirer of Hitler but later realized what sort of koolaid Hitler was offering and grew disillusioned. He even disobeyed many orders to commit outright war crimes and to this day is one of the few people associated with Hitler to escape being branded as a monster. He even wanted Hitler arrested and forced to stand trial for his crimes according to some records.

He was also a competent military man and never associated with any war crimes.

This even applies to normal fetishes imho. It is just weird to talk about liking big butts or whatever in almost all circumstances where you are using your real life identity. Why Alex and others think a much more bizarre fetish should be a normal topic of conversation is beyond me.
