It's weird how I end up coincidentally listening to something semi-on-topic. I'm listening to an interview of someone saying how their transitioning, and the estrogen is accompanied by an anti-androgen. The anti-androgen used in Canada for this is the same as what they use to chemically castrate people in the UK.

So, I think it's Billy's incredibly bitchy way of saying "Fuck you guys for knowing what hormones are and what they do. Cis guys had better fuck me now." I mean, most everyone in this thread has mentioned the effects of various hormones, after all.

Edited to add: For clarification, it's a way of saying "Asking me if I'm on hormones = asking me if I'm sterile."

IIRC, Billie did say he's capable of having biological kids. However, it's unknown if he was blatantly ignoring basic biology, or if he obliquely admitted he's still got charges in the ol' baby wand.
 
I doubt most people think of SRS primarily as sterilization, although that is a consequence. What a strange fixation on Labelle's part, to focus on what doesn't exist after surgery rather than what does exist. But then again she is an incredibly negative and hostile person so I guess it's in line with her character.

It's possible he had sperm stored prior to surgery, if he had SRS.
 
The hormones they give MtF trans can also cause irreversible sterilization in some cases

Agreed, Sophie just insulted people who get SRS. They aren't doing it to get sterilized, they are doing it because they have lower-body dysphoria.

She's also implying that people who get the surgery don't want to have kids--Sophie has bragged that she can have kids--either she still has her girldick (oh, sorry, her penis-shaped clitoris) or has put away sperm (but given what she preaches in her comic, she still has her dick) so that makes her a worthier mate than people who have SRS.

You can still have children if you have lower-body surgery, by adopting, so she's insulting tran.speople who adopt kids as well.

And no, Sophie, no one should care what's in your pants because when they look at you they see a grown man who dresses like a five-year-old, there's no androgyny about you.

I mean, judging by the way he dresses and the issues he tends to write about, that's kinda the vibe I get (aside from the whole 'self-righteous tranny who would rather fuck over the majority just to make two people comfortable' thing). Everything from the extremely young but way too 'adult-sounding' main character to the fact that Sophie's main 'audience' for her writings (including her school leaflets) are for children.

Either that, or he's actually a tranny Eldar-kin, judging by his priorities.
