you misread. i am saying that girls are sexually active on their own much younger than 18 and that the majority of teen pregnancies and sexual assault of teens are committed by men under 30 who thought they were having sex with somebody of legal age. ergo , i believe that 15 or 16 is a much more realistic age of consent.

also, by it's very definition, a single encounter with a 15 year old does not define a person as a pedophile.
