I notice a lot of these people lump racism, ableism, classism, etc. into their tirade against being thin. What exactly do any of those things have to do with being fat? Are they just pulling buzzwords out of their massive asses?

I think it's analogous to "crank magnetism", the documented tendency for conspiracy theorists to believe not just one conspiracy, but multiple ones, (You'll rarely find one who believes in say chemtrails WITHOUT also believing the Apollo landings were hoaxes) because it reinforces their worldview that they're being schemed against by great, fraudulent powers, and to admit that maybe one assassination could've been carried out by a lone nut means they have to believe that maybe, most if not ALL of them were the work of lone nuts with guns...

In much the same way, I think there's "socjus magnetism" going on here, once you've identified yourself as being oppressed by "abelist" forces, then they're ALL against you because it's more comforting to think the chorus of voices that won't accept your delusions are allied for nefarious reasons, not just that they're stating what's obvious to anyone, being morbidly obese is not in any way healthy no matter how you got there.
