Yes, because that's what they were designed for: To prevent pre-teen kids going through puberty before they reached the appropriate age, not to prevent them going through it entirely. At Thanksgiving I was having a conversation with a relative about how another crazy relative (long since dead, would have been 100+ if still alive) would have loved social media, and all the trouble this person would have gotten into. It dawned on me that the internet provides more opportunities for personality disordered people to reinforce other personality disordered people than there used to be in the past, and can fuel their narc supply with more victims than they would normally have access too. It's really an amazing phenomenon.

The person in this post likely would have just had to deal with doc and mom, and probably no one else in their circle would have reinforced their little pout. But now they get backing from the internet and will possibly amplify their antisocial behavior.
