What does the farms think of squishmallows?

My niece loves them. Every few months I spend a little of my income on my niece and nephews. Niece always wants a squishmallow because they are cute, soft and are great when it comes to making pillow forts. Damn things sell like hotcakes too where I live. Every time the store I work at stocks them up they are all gone within a few days.
 
My girlfriend has a shit ton of em’. She has all these giant ass big ones and all these weird exclusive ones and whatnot. She’s super autistic into cataloging the rarity and seeing how much they go for through resellers. They’re really soft, and I like diving into them and slowly sinking in them all the time.
 
The big ones make for cute throw pillows. My sister has one that looks like a koala and I’ve considered getting one of my own. The people who consoom massive amounts of them like those people who got way too into beanie babies in the 90s are fucking weird though.

Personally, I prefer squishables, mostly because they have more fun designs. Still, I don't think there's anything wrong with a few soft toys, as long as it's not a compulsive, consoomer thing. They're just soft, pleasant things like a decorative pillow or a throw blanket.

The compulsive consoomer thing is what has completely turned me off from them. There's a certain kind of munchie self dxed autistic person that has being obsessed with these things a part of their personality. Makes me sad for my fellow autists who actually have them as an special interest because of how whacky the resale market is.
 
They make great pillows and they are super cute so I love them. I got a goat one for my cat to sleep on. I really like the large sized ones you can often find in target tbh. I got a stitch one on clearance at walmart recently.
 
Women get gifts. From their husbands, friends, their kids. I have a heap of stuffies, including one or two of these.
These people desperate to find and designate red flags from mundane stuff, but the true red flags are fundamental
and easy to spot. Liars, thieves, cheats, and girls who are too into horses.
 
They're beany babies but more autistic. Massively overvalued as collectibles in a secondary speculator market, and them being large pillow-sized attracts female autists who use things like that for stimming.
I have a dear friend with that diagnosis and she has at least 100 squishmallows. They've taken over her and her husband's house in the last two years. It would drive me absolutely insane, he's a saint for dealing with it.
It's fine to have one or two, they could be one offs or gifts, as mentioned above. But I'd run from someone with more than a dozen for the same reason someone with a huge funko pop collection freaks me out.
 
I have a large budgie and a small budgie plushie from my husband but they're not squishmallows. I think the bird sqishmallows are cute but not worth the price and, likely, the hassle of waiting for one you like and getting your hands on it. I have other autisms to spend money on, thank you.
 
Also I think my nephew has one. Honestly I might buy one if they’re actually good pillows
