I'd like to call your attention to Twitter autist Daniel Dell. Dell is obsessed with two things: Enter, and 2000s Adult Swim (specifically Superjail.) For over a year now, he's gone on constant rants on Twitter about how he assumes Enter would probably hate Superjail, and how he's very angry about this imagined fact. It's gotten to the point where he has edited together an entire fucking video of what he thinks Enter would say about Superjail, cutting in periodically with his own voice, with editing that's somehow worse than Enter's from 8 years ago. This is not a joke, and as far as I can tell he is not trolling.
He seems to be paranoid that people will think he likes Enter, so he'll sometimes clarify without prompt that he doesn't:

Cerra questioned him once, but it doesn't seem like it went anywhere:

Bitch, I come home from a long shift at work and find a wholesome thread about a cartoon dog family and spend some time relaxing watching it with my roommate. Then I came here and provided some discussion material comparing and contrasting a successful cartoon to Growing Around. You know, what the thread is about? Either contribute to the topic of the thread or shut the fuck up.

I haven’t followed this thread in forever, but people rating my old posts made me want to revisit this beautiful meltdown.

There were a lot of autistic people in this thread, but only one of them chose to die by the hand of an Australian toddler show.

The only hindsight I can give Mooo is that it grew in popularity and was the #1 show on Disney plus for years. Didn’t deserve his magnum opus review though.

Had he brought us a clip like this, he might still be posting here today. Live and learn I guess.

Okay that meltdown was pretty funny. Thanks for that.

Of all the different interests for an autistic person to hyper focus on, why did they choose a random subpar internet creator? Even when someone says they enjoys Super jail, his first reaction is to say what Mr. Enter thinks of it instead of himself.

I may be remembering wrong but when I had briefed his Animated Atrocity Drawn Together movie review, I recall he admits at the start it's just personal dislike for the show, rather than saying the show is inherently or objectively bad. He then goes on about how the movie is the worst thing ever and all that, but did you really expect much else from him? Of all the things to harp on with the guy, why his Drawn Together opinion?

It's off topic but, most posters have a few solid stinkers in their history. It's always kinda sad but funny when people get laughed at once and then dip.

I’ve definitely said my fair share of stupid shit. But only a real idiot tries to fight back against their negative reception. I’ll never get why people can’t just take the L and move on. No one holds it against you unless you repeatedly say stupid shit

Interesting premise for a video but I feel like judging a show’s titles for being unimaginative is a bit weird. If Ed Edd n Eddy was called Scamming the Cul de Sac or had a subtitle itd clog up the title with unnecessary detail or it’d just not be as catchy. Some people confuse titles of things with the characters, y cant metroid crawl

Having character names as a title is a simple way to recognize a show.
If I say Samurai Jack to someone who's never seen the show, you'd assume it stars a samurai named Jack. To someone who has seen it you're already playing the opening montage with Genndy's artstyle, "Jack-ack-ack" and kung fu noises playing.

For Enter's case, Growing Around. What from the title can you tell his show will be about? Child gardeners? The daily adventures of someone who works in lawn services? Names are the first thing people will see of your product so having it be the main character's name isn't a bad thing.

Edit: Enter, you just made my point. If I started talking about Arthur, I'd say that he's a children's book character that's had a show on PBS since the 90s that you've probably seen somewhere but just don't remember. The name is the initial draw to what I'm talking about, the context helps you understand it. It'd be different if I said the show was "Aardvark & Friends."

Lolirock is also a magical girl/rockband show, it's french so the "loli" is lolita, obviously. Teenagers, as well, 15 years old.
Curious, the word lolita to mean jailbait comes from a 1955 novel, this then got traction in Japanese subculture to mean loli in manga. Lolita is a given name in Spanish but the main character's name in Lolirock is Iris. I think there's some french connection where Lolita could refer to a young female but it is unknown to me.

This video is enters way of coping for the childhood anger of setting Links name as "Zelda" in Zelda 1 and getting sent right to the harder second quest.

Did he consider (I'm not watching) Ed Edd n Eddy unimaginative? It's a great name, it's catchy, the title has a fun/goofy vibe, distinctive.

Edit: I never even watched the show as a kid, I've only seen little bits here and there, but the name makes me feel warm inside, like it just SOUNDS like a good cartoon.

Yes, he used The Three Stooges as an example of a better title. Saying how they didnt call it Larry Curly and Moe. What he doesnt like about these titles is unless the name is rare you either wont know much about the show from the title or you will mistake it for another character with the same name

Maybe he has a point with Arthur the show and Arthur the movie. However no one is going to be confused about Ed Edd n Eddy. He completely misses the fact that the show is the same name thrice, and that tells you a lot about the wacky nonsense and imagination you’re in for

Sorry to be late. He also done the same thing with benthelooney

I mean Ben has his problems, but sperging out about him 24/7 gets you no where. We get it already, he's a creep, you don't need to repeat it over 24/7.

He also did the same for John K. awhile back. Don't get me wrong John K. is a horrible person, but people who constantly bitch about him 24/7 are no better than his fanboys.

Not to mention, the people attached to the names are distinctive enough that you can tell who they are just by name alone. The intro is a high contender for one of the best cartoon intros of all time, simply because it tells you everything you need to know about the Eds.

Eddy's going out of his way to look cool and chases Ed after a few mishaps, establishing him as the wise-cracking schemer/dreamer. Ed knocked over Eddy and Double D and positioned the camera terribly, establishing him as the dumb Cloud-cuckoolander. Double D is shy but also very neat since he steps away from the camera, but also tries to adjust it when Ed messes it up, establishing him as the straight man/neat freak. And if you STILL are lost (for whatever reason), each of them say their names at the end, with Double D fainting at the end, further emphasizing his shyness.

All this, and only 3 words of spoken dialogue in an intro. Okay, 4 if you count the "n".

well dont forget the brrrrrr yeah!
