To play devils advocate for a second (and get plenty of dumb reacts, I love you all still).
I had someone close to me die, I wasn't there when they passed but I was there literally minutes after it happened. I just remember being in a blur the whole time and my head was pounding, all I could think about was "This was someone I love and they're now dead" and how things were with the body. I remember hyper fixating on little details to the point they're burned into my memory permanently (I could describe a lot, I wont.) and my friend called me as I was leaving the hospital because I just had to get outside and the first things I described was the body and condition because it's ALL my brain could process at the time, it's all you can think about.
So while this is more fucked up because it's a media circus, I can understand it.
