All signs point to some kind of alpacauschwitz event in recent history. They can't be making much money with their drywall business or whatever, and if they still had 200+ alpacas to feed they'd have gone under long ago.

Boner recently unlocked his Twitter and he's been vaguetweeting about needing to do something about the ranch situation since moving out.
Look out for Penny to start cryptically muttering about killing the "landlord class".

Remind me was BonelessGenderBucket on twitter (the one posting the recent food pics) Jen? Because he's suspended now.
Financial ruin was certainly on the cards until the end of 2021, the situation was desperate, but something has changed.
Maybe they finally managed to commit that welfare fraud they've been dreaming of?

He'll be back. I'm sure its the thing where Twitter makes you delete the offending tweets before giving your account back.

What made the men of the tranch choose alpacas, of all things? I would think there are other animals that could have been cared for at less expense.
Alpacas can be had for free because so many people bought them 15-20 years ago for their wool. It was really a pyramid scheme and now there's people stuck with herds of them.

Unfortunate that the tranch kind of played into that. But hopefully there are some people taking better care of their own herds, somewhere.

They were a trendy animal for a while, people thought they'd get rich selling their wool. They're harder to take care of than most of these people expected, so you see them for sale for very cheap, or sometimes even abandoned.

And even if it's a "permanent" ban there really is no such thing for troons on Twitter, no matter what they do.

Everyone I've known who kept those things has been an absolute nut.

You're right, and I do deserve all the rainbows. I guess I'm thinking that if this was possible (after the troons destroyed Michfest), and if enough people wanted a trans equivalent enough to actually throw in money, it could happen.

I think what you describe is what a normal person who doesn't hate troons would assume it was.

It would make more sense than a working alpaca farm.

The fiber arts world is pretty milky, but everyone agrees that independent alpaca farmers are fucking crazy and you should not engage with them, no matter how much you like alpaca wool. I've only ever seen one person from that world boosting the Tranch, and that was as an anarcho-syndicalist queer commune under assault by Nazi chuds, not as a source of fine alpaca goods.

It's common in my area to keep a pair around to guard sheep/goats/birds from anything smaller than a mountain lion. You could get a Great Pyrenees to do the same job but then you've got an adorable fluffy dog that you can't treat like a pet or he'll bond with the humans instead of the livestock and stop doing his job.

The tarp barn/barnschwitz is so retarded I did some looking online to see DIY barn options and there's apparently a whole industry that sells DIY barn plans and kits. One place sells easy to use mortise and tenon connectors and you cut your own lumber using their plans, this other one I found seems to supply pre cut lumber so you just assemble on site.
It's also worth pointing out that these barn kits can be extremely nice. You can make one with a poured foundation, electrical wiring, etc., and it will last as long as any other building of similar make. They're an excellent option if you want to build a new barn (or, perhaps more realistically, pay someone to build it for you) and would rather not do everything entirely from scratch.

Yeah, theoretically they could build a barn out of a barn kit... but all I can think of is Penny as Weird Al in Amish Paradise and said barn collapsing under heavy snow. They have the King Midas touch of shit, everything they do turns to crap.

If they made it as easy as putting together IKEA furniture and all the instructions could fit on an index card, they'd still fuck it up, troons being completely useless at everything.

Jen has posted recently on the Fediverse, but there's nothing about his Twitter ban.
https://beach.city/@norintha
He also gets essentially no interaction there. And over on Twitter, no one (not even Kevin) has bothered to mention him or his ban. What a sad life.
I guess this wasn't such a great idea in retrospect (lol):

Btw, they're selling livestock apparently. But why aren't any of the Tranchers advertising this on Twitter? 🤔

An ex-military troon was confused about what the Tranchers were trying to accomplish with their tacticool LARPing. Here's Josie's response (cope):
