I actually think it would be the crowning funniest thing if he was caught doing this or anything else and got banned from Hooligans.

Having been a bartender in the murky past, I can say from direct observation that the kind of drunk Patrick is, the sort who thinks he is popular and important to one particular bar, literally nothing shatters their delusional world more than being barred.

Especially if, as I suspect Patrick does, they get to thinking that they are something like a shareholder/unofficial security/protector of the bar.

Since Pat was extolling the virtue of trains earlier in the week, I’m currently stuck on one due to a problem with the overhead wires, after earlier being held up on my previous connection due to an object falling off someone’s car and onto the line. My journey was meant to take about 90mins total, but on the current trajectory it’ll be more like 3-4hrs.

The only thing I can say is it’s cheap, but that’s only because I have access to free travel vouchers. If I’d paid for this shit it’d probably have cost me about £70.

Flawless transport for America, Pat. I wonder why it hasn’t caught on.
 
I think the rascals are trying to "introduce" Pat to other (almost) equally insufferable and terminally online narcissists to see them clash. You know with some of these types they're just like Pat- addicted to internet drama and unable to back down so a conflict between the two will potentially result in a perpetual motion machine that produces nothing but endless milk.
