The video was rather boring. By and large, very tame comments. Its one of those Truly videos that sort of acts like these two get especially harsh/more hate than anyone else who is online just because they are an unconventional gay straight couple.
Everyone online gets death threats. If you sincerely believe its a credible threat then report it, but its not unique to you for being trans.

If what she said is true, that they were looking forward to making the cake (which I'm willing to believe, given current year social pandering) then my guess is something happened so they couldn't get it done in time/the cake broke and they refunded her money.

But that isn't good enough for clout, so she made the encounter on Twitter look like ~that~. I suspect if it had happened she'd name and shame. Why wouldn't she? She'd be letting people in her area know to avoid that bakery because ~bigots~. It wouldn't be libel either if it was the truth, because the truth is an absolute defense against libel/slander, at least in the US but I doubt it's different in Canada.

no? the entire point of the video is to showcase the idea that trannies are not what the commenters are saying they are by the example of the one in the video, it would be weird to not use someone like that.
 
Back to the cake thing, I found out I have a mutual friend with dani. Or did.

While searching her fb for clues to the bakery, her name brought up posts that indicated she lived with a good friend of mine. Now the friend is pretty "woke" but not obnoxiously so. She might make a post or two about current topic-current year but mostly she focuses on normal fb sperging (selfies, travel whatever.)

I found it interesting that the posts tagging my friend stopped in 2020, right about the time dani ramped up her troon kid stuff. And I noticed that she had neither of my friends 2 fb accounts friended anymore. So they must have had a falling out.


Anyway, I did research into bakeries in the town she said (it's not Edmonton, losers. It's a massively smaller town adjacent to it.) There actually weren't too many bakeries so it didn't take long to narrow down only 2 that were home businesses.

One made pride cakes all month. Their fb is basically rainbow themed. So clearly not that one.

The other is an Asian lady with a husband that posts vulgar stuff, and looks pretty chill. At first nothing came up for lgtb cakes but it didn't take me long to find that she had made a big rainbow pride cake just a few months ago. If her husband's so against it, I can't imagine it still being up on the poor abused victims business page.


So I'm calling bullshit on the entire story. Maybe she forgot to order a cake and to cover getting a cheapie dq one, she made up some story about how she totally went above and beyond but the terrible white men held her down
 
I've been lurking on r/detrans since I saw a thread from it on Twitter. There is some decent milk to be had there even though it's supposedly for people who figured out trooning out was a bad idea. There are a lot of really messed up people in that group. I guess I expected it to be people with a longer perspective- "I fucked up, realized my mistake, and set things right, here's what I learned." Not so much.
