This probably happened, not in the way the troon is explaining it though.
Troons don't understand most social encounters, they only derive their experiences as bullying and TV, so when they are encountered with resistence they will fill in the blanks with the most melodramatic shit possible.

If what she said is true, that they were looking forward to making the cake (which I'm willing to believe, given current year social pandering) then my guess is something happened so they couldn't get it done in time/the cake broke and they refunded her money.
But that isn't good enough for clout, so she made the encounter on Twitter look like ~that~. I suspect if it had happened she'd name and shame. Why wouldn't she? She'd be letting people in her area know to avoid that bakery because ~bigots~. It wouldn't be libel either if it was the truth, because the truth is an absolute defense against libel/slander, at least in the US but I doubt it's different in Canada.

You’re probably right, but let’s not underestimate the institutional pressure and sometimes outright violence, some parents would face.
Like the Canadian dad who was dragged to court for trying to parent his kid (GOD FORBID!) and said “Nope!” to their gender trending.
If you live someplace woke enough, and your kid happens to come in contact with a tranny or an SJW, shit can go south really fast.
(On top of all the pressure parents face from “experts”. “Don’t believe your lying eyes and ears, believe our science!)
That’s why laws outlawing this shit for kids is so important imho.
