I'm confused. Is this person a TIF or just a garden variety faggot? JK Rowling loves homos and would definitely have a major problem with anyone who attacked a child. In any case, this person is clearly either lying or greatly exaggerating. Parents go absolutely ballistic when people fuck with their children; even a mother in this situation would have likely scratched his eyes out. Assuming this person and his husband are both dudes, I find it suspicious that they didn't just double team this guy and stomp him out. Some might argue that they were trying to spare their son further trauma, but I don't buy it. I once witnessed a woman smash a man's face with a tea kettle in Target after he called her daughter a brat.
Parents rarely remain this calm when their children are being attacked. It goes against normal instincts.
It also goes against normal instincts for adults to sit around and do nothing while someone is screaming at a child. Even most homophobes would have stepped in and told the guy to stfu in this situation.
All of these fake hate crime stories drive me crazy... they make it harder for the general public to believe actual victims. And if some random homophobe actually pulled this shit on an Amtrak train, Amtrak would have immediately released a statement. They love queers.

There's this awful couple of words that emerged out of Tumblr: "queer representation". People think it was about Tumblr gays demanding that at least 1 token gay be in every media property, but that's not actually where it comes from. It comes from mostly female Tumblr slash writers who justified the gay male shipping they did in shit like Supernatural and Sherlock by claiming that they were "queer" and wanted more "queer" representation in their consoomer properties (at that point they were all claiming to be bisexual rather than troons). These are the people who chimped out when Sherlock ended without some sort of gay sex scene between the leads. Somehow, that was not about wanting to flick it to their fetish, but about wanting to "see themselves" in the media they consumed. If you ever watch breadtube regular Sarah Z, that literally how she justifies all of the awful, disgusting shit that came out of those fandoms. ABO and MPREG and all the rest, well that' s just queer representation!
Pass that lie up through the corporate hierarchy, and you get the mandated queer that everybody can congratulate themselves about including.

That reddit post perfectly illustrates that nobody will ever see trannies as real women. I would not be making this gofundme if I had any other options but truly I have reached this point. I spend so much time advocating for other people that I always feel bad asking for anything for myself.
I started taking hormones and beginning my transition in 2017 at which point I was working at Starbucks and doing drag to make a side income. Ever since then my living situation and life have been unstable, unsafe, and never the same. My biological family found an empty bottle of estradiol pills in my childhood bedroom a week after I moved out and they removed themselves from supporting me in any way. (in the form of a typed letter) Especially if it meant by proxy funding my transition. Since then the two biggest forms of income for me have been 1. money from doing drag, and 2. being a sw-er. The drag community is not a safe place for trans women unfortunately and the more secondary sex characteristics I took on, the more dangerous a place it became for me. And not to air my personal tea, but I can't very well engage in sw anymore easily because I tested positive for HIV at the beginning of this year. Being that I'm immunocompromised and trans and unemployed living in an abusive household while trying to attend community college classes online, I have finally reached my breaking point. I know from the outside looking in I have been doing very well with the beginnings of my career as a pop artist, but I don't have a label or financial backing from anyone and I've been relying on financial aid to have any semblance of an income. (which has run dry) I've been paying in coins at the gas station and my phone is currently disconnected from service. I'm not ashamed of the point I've reached but I have been hesitant to ask for help when I so desperately need it. My current reality is rather real and terrifying... and I just have not known what to do about this situation. I'm currently trapped in an abusive safety net that is starting to cut off circulation in me. idk this description of my situation is all over the place but I wanted to be super open and real about what has been going on. After everything I've experienced over the past two years, music has been the only thing that I can do... at all most of the time.
