🤝 Community Munchausen's by Internet (Malingerers, Munchies, Spoonies, etc) - Feigning Illnesses for Attention

On the topic of diabetic munching, doesn't one of the girls use a modified glucose monitor to monitor hormones (and deliver steroids)?
If a munchie could manage to hack a CGM to monitor hormone levels, their Munchausen's would be eclipsed by their highly-lucrative tech breakthrough. Someone could claim that that's why they're wearing a CGM, but it's really, really unlikely to be true.

Without outing my source, I’d like to share a message Victoria sent one of her followers about her fake twin and it makes absolutely no goddamned sense. It’s a wonder this specimen has kept herself alive for 28 years because holy shit she is DUMB. A doctor told her that she and her conjoined identical twin with somehow different dna would’ve had…opposite illnesses? Even though the cause of Vickie’s woes are because of the dead fetus’ bits and pieces left in her body? Someone give this munch a prize. This takes the cake. She's acting like this supposed dead twin and her would have been the Yin-Yang symbol.

Does anyone in her life ever just do the "That's not how this works! That's not how any of this works!" thing at her?

Is that a fucking BIRKIN?

That is indeed a Hermes Birkin- worth roughly $23,000.

Clock me if late, I don't know enough about purses/Birkins in particular to say with confidence it definitely is not one. I can say with absolute certainty it is not that specific model. If the inconsistencies rule out another model it's not even a particularly good counterfeit.

On the left we see a more chromed, rounded buckle on her bag. This is not consistent with the squared/gold buckle from the genuine article.

Now I am no fashionista or expert on Hermes but I am aware enough to know they wouldn't omit something as important as the brouges by mistake. You also see that they use two different grains of (quite nice) leather between the main portion of the bag and the trim. Her bag is one (much tackier) grain. Look at where the belt passes through and the stitching. Even in low res that is a poor showing for stitching. I would need higher resolution and more background info on potential similar models to say much more. OT Edit:
Methemoglobinemia probably refers to the Blue Fugates of Kentucky,
My medfag to white trash understanding: That scans, definitely lots of meth-goblins up that way. I don't know what kinda weird pervert stuff "fugates" are into but if they're blue they've probably gotten into some spraypaint to huff.

You're barking up completely the wrong tree. It's a blood disorder, which the Fugate family had a high incidence of due to inbreeding. Most of the iron in their blood is fucked up, so that it carries less oxygen and is also blue. Ironically, the treatment is a blue dye.

The always insane Morgan McCastor who has faked autoimmune encephalitis, diabetes, dementia, Parkinson’s, etc is now being chopped up by Dr. Bolognese.

She is currently in patient after having tests done two days ago and she is due to have the actual surgery Tuesday. Dr. Bolognese also operated on the shunt put in when Morgan was at Penn State. Mom is currently complaining online about pain control and whether they will get the surgery done or if they will wait.

They’re still as bat shit as ever. Will follow up with SS

Oral sulfonylureas--glimepiride, glyburide, glipizide--can get someone pretty hypoglycemic if they don't eat or take too large a dose, but those are also prescription medications.
Glinides too.

I think it would be technically possible to induce hypoglycemia by taking a massive amount of fenugreek supplements since it works similarly to sulfonylureas and glinides. Also induces lactation and makes your pee smell like maple syrup.

Well, get on it munchies there's a medical mystery you can stymie some poor emergency medicine physician with.

This sounds like it will eventually happen, but probably not consciously.

There was a thread a little back with a troon who wanted to lactate, so he was eating those "lactation cookies" for breastfeeding mothers. (They had a little fenugreek in them, but were mostly just nutritional support for a postpartum woman who was already lactating, oats and flaxseed and such.) It was a combination of magical thinking, poor reading comprehension, and disposable income.

Now, if anything's worth doing, it's worth overdoing, and they do sell fenugreek in supplements or just tea bags.

If they really want to lactate, there’s a few antipsychotics they could try…

Go tell the pharmaceutical companies; you found a niche market! Adjust the dose, dye them pink, extend the patent. Funny catch-22 if an antipsychotic made a guy lactate, but also made him less overwhelmingly interested in lactating.

A relative of mine doctored in a mental hospital many years ago. There was a hugely obese psychotic (but not stupid) black woman on one ward who caused all sorts of issues. Whenever she spotted him coming onto the floor, she would shout, "Doctor Smiff! Doctor Smiff!", haul out one of her giant titties and squirt at him. His name was not Smith.

Even though I may have even posted the shortened clip of it, I cannot locate the video of Sarah-Jean falling out of her wheelchair in the driveway. I've searched high and low.
If anyone wants to aid in the search, I'm feeling nostalgic. Thanks
And I found it finally after searching for "Driveway"

I once knew someone who started lactating after being prescribed fluoxetine (Prozac) and thought it was just one of those annoying side effects people on SSRIs have to deal with. At a follow up appointment, her psychiatrist asked how she was feeling, and she responded, "Oh, I'm feeling SO much better! The lactation thing is a little inconvenient, but you know, I just deal with it." The doctor was like, (record scratch) "I'm sorry, the WHAT is inconvenient?!"

Apparently, galactorrhea is a very rare side effect of fluoxetine. Here's the NIH LactMed database entry about it.

Evidently opioid use has also been reported to cause lactation in some patients, which is an interesting side note considering our subjects of discussion.

I thought Sarah Jean was doing well since getting a girlfriend and all, her posts were relatively normal. But she recently posted about having a third port installed, so perhaps her recovery is non linear.

I clipped that and used the audio of the exact moment she ate shit going downhill and backwards to use as a notification sound for a couple weeka, as her frightened bellow of "ARRGLE BARGLE UUFFF" was fucking hilarious.

Point being I may have it on a drive somewhere and will gladly post it for you if/when I find it, homie.

Risperdal is one atypical antipsychotic that is notorious for inducing lactation. It’s also safe to prescribe to pediatric patients for controlling negative behaviors associated with autism and, off-label, as a treatment for severe and/or intractable tics in Tourette Syndrome. So imagine some poor teenage putz—who already has to put up with barking and yelping and twitching from Tourette’s— hops in the shower one day only to find that he’s fucking LACTATING from his medication (lactation while taking risperdal has an incidence of about 60% in the pediatric population as opposed to about only 1% among adults taking it). What a nightmare.
