I can actually answer this. He admitted to me that it's because he nearly constantly has diarrhea (probably because of his diet) and he doesn't know enough to not trust his farts.

Tweaker, that you have managed to not descend into brainfuck insanity after being trapped around Phil is a testament to your strength of will.

And...ugh. You'd think at that point that Phil would be able to sense a pattern involving his "farts". Buuut that's giving the potato a bit too much credit.

I think he is probably in about the same condition as Andrea Dworkin was at his age. He probably is going to survive for a while but it is unlikely he will make 60
