I was looking at information on this exposition when I found a video featuring Grayson Perry (I'm too much of a retard to link it here). If you don't know him, he's a British artist that likes to cross-dress in public.

The point of this post is something I've said here before, but it's always sexual, no matter if they do it all the time or just two hours a day. The worst thing is we keep applauding it as if it's something brave. Transgenderism is just the natural consequence of accepting drag queens and transvestites as harmless.

Grayson Perry is an interesting one because he's always been entirely upfront that he got into being a transvestite from an early age because he got a sexual thrill from it.
However a lot of the time he's crossdressing in public, it's because he's dressed as "Claire", an alter ego he developed. Basically he realised that just dressing up as a woman wasn't terribly shocking among the 1990s Young British Artist scene, so he started dressing as a little girl. In this sense it's not sexual, it's performance art.

The fashion students at Central Saint Martin's compete to design dresses for Claire every year, although he's said he's losing interest in cross dressing, partially because it's just not shocking any more and partially because the exuberance associated with "Claire" felt at odds with the pandemic. I think he's taking the piss a bit with his reference to getting a stiffy.
