Why would anyone pay thousands for a Twitter account? Does this fat idiot not know you can make a throwaway Twitter, with a legitimate phone number, for as low as $2 using one of those Mint Mobile trial kits at Target?

You don't even need to do this, unless they've changed it, you can just take your phone number out of an account after creating it and confirming and then create yet another one. The only reason for the phone number thing seems to be so they can send you a two-factor code but if you don't actually give a shit about the account you can just remove the phone number and use it again. (Standard disclaimer that you should not trust Twitter but they don't seem to actually care about you using a phone number to create multiple accounts. Yet.)
