Someone might have made an anonymous report to the RCMP that there was a convoy of American truckers attempting to enter Canada and join the protests by sneaking in one truck at a time and meeting up once they were inside Canada. I am sure that whomever this individual was they only intended to provide the Canadian government with information regarding a real and active threat, and certainly didn't intend to drain resources and man power forcing the Mounties to waste time on a nothingburger.
