I can't believe I'm saying this, but Canadian Truckers might have saved the world. People are caving to them, and politicians are starting to talk about easing up on COVID restrictions, so its looking like this convoy is working not just for Canada, but for the west as a whole.

This has really all come down to that moment in Fight Club when the Brad Pitt character, or the Edward Norton one in his head whatever, says to the establishment clown the following:

"The people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep. Do not fuck with us."

Somebody mentioned earlier that when people who actually get shit done stop complying, it's catastrophic.

The greatest part about this is the whole area could be cleared in a matter of hours if they just gave the truckers their freedom back. Pass a bill up on the hill there with a hard end date to the mandates across the country. The truckers would load up their gear, pick up the last of the trash, run up their checkered flags and leave. It's only the government people who insist on making things complicated.

I am the living embodiment of pettiness but I can't even understand it. Nobody likes to be wrong, but Jesus Christ when you'd rather have martial law than let people choose whether or not they want to catch the flu? You've gotta pull your head out of your ass for air at some point.

Look as an American I feel the need to Manifest my destiny and lay claim to this movement.

They got the inspriation from our Trucker's raping Colorado for sentencing a fellow trucker to 110 years in prison and their protest. Obivously, the land of the free and the home of the brave is the inspiration and the Canadians owe us royalties for this.
