Actually her pattern of behavior (pushing people away and trying to be intimidating but at the same time being very emotionally dependent and hypersexual) fits that of someone who was a victim of a pedophile in the family so I wouldn't rule this one out. Blaming actions of the pedophile on some conspiracy (they weren't in control, someone forced them to do it) is a common way of dealing with conflicting feelings related to that person.
