We already know that Ralph does a lot of drugs and pops pills, so if they prescribe him pain medication, what are the chances he gets addicted and that becomes another vice for him? Surely his already unhealthy body cannot handle all these toxic mixtures.

The thing with government statistics is that they're typically self reported. Want lower crime? Change crime definitions and lose a few reports into the bin.

Also, cities of any size almost always have higher crime than the countryside. I'm not a geography scientist, but my feel of Portugal is it's more rural than some of its neighbors.

That's definitely true and in the crime stats in cities, especially for property crime, are lower than what actually happens. But if you look at how that rank is calculated, violent crime is only one of a bunch of criteria, including a lot of subjective items, some globalist bullshit like "contributions to UN peacekeeping missions", and of course, "access to small arms and light weapons". It apparently doesn't factor into their index that the places in the US with the worst violent crime are also the places where the local governments make it the hardest to legally own and carry guns.

Yea he's going to be buried financially. He was completely headed for a cliff before this, and now it's unfathomable as I'm guessing he doesn't have insurance. Knowing people might come to your house, in you hometown, where you can call the cops, and getting beaten nearly to death completely alone and isolated in a foreign country where you don't speak the language are two considerably different things. Also, PTSD isn't really a choice or even like most psych conditions. PTSD is almost physical, it goes down to the reptilian parts of your brain and interferes with its electrical signals and pathways, your brain is literally rewired. Trauma has been co-opted by fags so I think people forget it's just a natural response to shocking, overwhelming things your day-to-day brain can't really process.
