The orbital bone is pretty damn tough. Either hitting something on a fall, fall from a significant height so we know he wasn’t standing, or strong blunt force to the face would do it, unless he was in a car accident.

Either way he most likely has a traumatic brain injury as well. So if he pulls through surgery there will be long lasting effects maybe. I don’t know if we’ll be able to tell the difference either way.

Man I hope he gets better. This month has been phenomenal and I want more!

This is actually the best outcome for a psycho like Pantsu. Ralph is coming home a beaten, sad man. He will need a mommy to take care of him and make him soup, hold him while he weeps. He might be so sheepish and defeated she could get him to the courthouse before ejecting Gunt #2.

A week in recovery from that shit carries a risk of being cooked through on painkillers by the time he’s out.

If my ‘fiancé’ was almost stomped to death overseas, I’d probably be on the next plane to be by his side when he wakes up from surgery.
Is she too preggers to fly? Isn’t the cutoff 7 months? Who will document his recovery? He has no family or friends to speak of.

Meigh's tweet about Ralph being in the hospital seemed pretty cold and distant to me. Almost like she's just going through the motions.
She doesn't have any actual friends AFAIK, probably just work acquaintances with the other staff at Subway. Really the only one she has to talk to at all IRL is Ralph. And now that Ralph's not there, all she has to do is get up, go to work, come back to the (empty) crackshack and be alone with her thoughts.
And now, while waiting for Ralph to recover, she's going to have an awful lot of time to be alone with those thoughts. To contemplate all her life choices and where they've led her. And where all of Ethan's choices have led him.

I think there's a very real chance that by the time Ralph makes it back to the crackshack, Meigh will not be there.
Then again, in addition to being a horse, she's also a cow. And cows do not learn from their mistakes.

Edit: I forgot that Ralph most likely uses her Twitter as a sockpuppet. So it's equally plausible that it seems weird and distant because he's all dopey from painkillers.

The fact that it was ended with “He’s so strong!!” and thanking people for their concern points to it being written by the delusional fat wigger. 99.999999% of the internet is howling with laughter and thinks Ralph got exactly what he deserved, where the fuck are all the well wishes and concern? Only in Ralph’s imagination.

But the “he’s so strong” is just pure Ralph cope and what he wants someone to crow about to soothe his destroyed ego.

I don't remember exactly how far along she is but due to the various health dangers airlines don't allow women to fly past a certain point in their pregnancy. Especially if there are other medical issues involved it can be pretty early in the pregnancy.
