Right? That's what made me interested in Christine McConnell's genderdox. At this point in the clownification of the world the weirdest thing isn't Netflix trying to promote trannies, it's that they promoted a tranny without framing it as brave and stunning. Basically gaslighting their own viewers, tho I'm sure they'd have preferred if Chris awkwardly sashayed out of the troon closet because the free publicity that would've generated back in 2018 would've been yuge.



Since roughly about 2010 or so, comedy has pretty much died in mainstream media. It had to die, to let corporate sponsored social justice live. The kind of jokes RuPaul, Seth MacFarlane and Tosh.0 used to regularly make on TV would get you cancelled now.

Chapelle is maybe the edgiest man standing, much in the same way that JK Rowling is now some kind of extremist for holding views that were textbook liberal in 2007. I love the guy, but this is a sad state of affairs, he's a talented storyteller who can tell a joke, but he's no Bill Hicks or (young) Eddie Murphy. He's medium spicy.

I'm honestly amazed they didn't push Christine being trans as a selling point, both in an attempt to normalize it and to drum up guilt-viewers.


As for Chappelle, you can definitely tell he's got more to say on the subject, but the man knows what to say and how to say it.

Singal sticks up for them even! He "well actually"ed about that whole "if you don't use Latinx you're transphobic" image going around the other day. He said it looks like a Chan shoop, not an actual article.

I guess that's not standing up for troons now that I think about it, but I've seen him do that too. He got dog piled by feminists for using "wrong pronouns" about some Troon he was defending a few weeks ago. He's really pretty fairly center of the road and even handed. But of course that means pissing off everyone.
