I really think Jim came back to do some streams because he wants to make some money. That doesn't mean he doesn't enjoy doing them or that his streams aren't great, it just means there's a monetary component to what he's doing. You can enjoy fixing cars and still run a garage for profit.

He knows there is some overlap between his audience and Ralph's and he knows the 600-1,000 people Ralph has left watching his stream are all pay piggies. Jim has said internet censorship is about selling Toyotas, which is true, but you have to remember that Jim is also trying to sell Toyotas, just to a different audience. I can't fault him for that; we live in a society where everyone is selling everyone else Toyotas. He's not going to throw someone under the bus if it's going to potentially cost him thousands of dollars in superchats.
