I have seen zero evidence of this. Many of the troons in this thread reference fathers. And rates of single parenthood are lower among American whites, which is where 99% of the new wave of AGPs come from. New-wave troonery (as opposed to the older, rarer, mostly “homosexual transsexual” type) is almost entirely white and middle class.

It's interesting the difference between the even mildly politically liberal subs like WhitePeopleTwitter and the more "mainstream" normie ones like Switzerland. In the political ones you'll have dozens and dozens of people happily caping for troons (my favorite is the guy who demands an example of a transwoman raping a woman, is given an example of it, and then claims that the accuser must be lying). Whereas bringing up the topic in r/Switzerland gets a mod's scolding comment about everyone's "transphobia," a thread lock, and dozens of deleted comments.

Any major board has at least one trans moderator - there's a literal cabal of powermods and they squeeze their way onto any board that's getting traction.

A notable exception is /r/UKpolitics, which is why they were the ones to break the Aimee Challenor news - reddit deleted any articles featuring the name, so the mods were confused that the article was deleted (Aimee was literally just a footnote in an unrelated story) and they actually fought their corner. You could see the impact of the moderation capture based on which subreddits participated in the protest, including some that initially went private and then had that subverted.

I had no idea that that's what it took to get the Aimee Challenor stuff out into the open. One issue with getting people to realize what's going on with Reddit is that it sounds like a goddamn conspiracy theory when you say it ("one of the most popular social media sites on the internet got taken over by a secretive team of transwomen mods, who use their power to stifle argument and protect pedophiles and abusers and groomers"), and yet you can click on the mod names in any major sub and see for yourself what is going on.

I think it will be the opposite. At least with troons you can see and name what you’re dealing with. Any idiot could be a they/them with no effort or difference but you suddenly have to jump through the same hoops, I see narc bullies using this more once they realize that hrt and mangling their genitals sucks.

Thing is, normies favor the thing that seems harmless and normal, rather than the thing that's actually harmless. Gays and lesbians are far more harmless than AGPs, and yet time and time again powerful normies have chosen the latter ("a man who wears a dress is weird, but he's heterosexual and still fundamentally like me, unlike those faggots"). Once people realize they can be pro-troon without having to accommodate the actual troons that are causing them trouble, maybe they will switch to the more "harmless" enbies. I don't know, I'm really just fascinated with the way intra-troon power struggles are evolving in online spaces. The AFAB enbies seem to be getting better at using their superior social skills to criticize and freeze out more and more of the AMABs, and those AMABs (despite being REAL WOMEN) flounder in the dark as soon as they're on the receiving end of actual female bullying.
