Phil needs to research Ernst Röhm and realize that he's pretty much the poster potato for what Nazism loathed.
Do not pretend to transNazism, Phil. It will be as successful as Hitler's campaign in the U.S.S.R.
Seriously, stop it.

Yes, what Bibi said was stupid, but I love how German officials were like, "Yeah... no. We did it. Just us. Thanks."
Probably even Ernst Röhm would have had potato killed

Meh,I've said it beforebut 'cultural appropriation' is a sticky concept, not the least because people have been copying each other for millennia. That being said, I wouldn't call Phil using an ankh 'cultural appropriation' considering that ancient Egypt is about as dead a culture as you could name. Nobody has practiced their religion since the time of the pharaohs, and while we know a decent amount of their history, much of it is still open to interpretation.

Hell, you're average Wiccan could make a better case for cultural appropriation here considering Phil calling himself a 'witch' and tattooing pentagrams on those thunder thighs

So I know we're all going on the whole Nazis would exterminate Phil part, and that's all fine and dandy and true, but unless I missed it, is Phil still sucking Chairman Mao's cock while pledging himself to Der Fuhrer, because there are like at least a dozen ways that itself is hilarious.

Like his shit doesn't even try to have a logical connection anymore.
A couple of examples:

A.He's a far far far far left communist
B.At the same time being a Nazi bigot

A.Bitching about racism against trans-latinx womyn and cultural appropriation
B.Pretending to be a race that he isn't and presenting plainly as a man despite worshiping the trans identity.

A. Wants to be some kind of 'satanic witch' (or Shinto or whatever 'outsider' religion he feels like for 5 minutes)
B. Has an obsession with defending Muslims online.

Is Phil attempting to be the most despicable fat white man piece of shit he can possibly be?
Its like he's collecting as many bad ideas and extreme positions as he can no matter whether they make any sort of sense together.

I only used the term because to Phil it's hold no real significance or he never really bothered to even feign interest in understanding what it's origins or meaning is. It's like his little red book everything are just props to help him with his latest escape from himself. Like Phil strikes me as the kind of person to believe China and Japan are identical like how he believes with all the Latin countries because he is ignorant and proudly so.

TLDR Phil is stupid and can't comprehend things have more meaning that denoting something as edgy, trans, latinx, Maoist, etc.

Actually, if you poke around in the various pagan communities, you can find people who do worship the ancient Egyptian gods, and who put a fair amount of research into doing so. They tend to call themselves "Kemetic" pagans, apparently derived from some ancient name for Egypt. /nitpick

Oh I'm familiar with Tamara Siuda and the like, and while I'm sympathetic to neopagans, it's still a far cry from the religion as it was practiced a couple thousand years ago. Especially when most of the followers aren't Egyptian themselves, don't speak the language (which was actually a huge part of Egyptian religion, magic and identity), and aren't nearly so academic about it as Siuda and her Kemetic group.

Addendum: Reconstructing religions is rather a difficult concept, least of all because we can never truly know what the ancients actually believed. Imagine trying to reconstruct all of the rituals of the Roman Catholics, or Baptists, or any modern denomination solely by reading the Bible. It really wouldn't explain all of the details of ordaining priests, vestments, what to do and say during a mass, etc. Now imagine a religion with no central text, thousands of gods and cults, and that changed over the centuries and millennia. That's the key issue everyone from the Kemetics to Rodnovers to Canaanite reconstructionists face. Compound that with a relative dearth of matieral in some areas (mystery religions don't tend to write things down) and you see the problem.

Mentioned this to someone from our college who went on to study Comparative Theology. Short version, there's one more person from the old anime club who hates Phil with a burning passion.

Ha! Again, though, Phil is kind of stuck in the rebellious teenage phase. I grew up roughly around the same time as Phil and had quite a few friends who were into alternative religions. As I said, I'm very sympathetic to the Neopagan communities. But I can remember quite a few high school and even college kids (almost all white) who flocked to Wicca or Buddhism when it was trendy. Ironically, most of them grew out of it after a couple years. Quite a few moved on to Evangelical/Born Again Christianity, which is in and of itself something of an alternative religion, while others became Atheists. Am I the only one who thinks "Born Again" Phil would be hilarious?

Also, Phil adopting whatever religion is 'trendy' or 'controversial' at the moment would be hilarious. If you think Puerto Rico isn't cool with Satanists or Wiccans, just imagine how well that shit would go down in Palestine?

I'm sure the POCs on Phil's friends list will be delighted by this new persona.

Does he notice he huge delay in development I wonder how he feels if he compared himself with someone else his age if ego doesn't kick in telling him some bullshit about it's not his fault. It's just so off that there really isn't much real with Phil with him being a disassociative compulsive liar. Like I just want to figure out what goes on in his head to feel the need to constantly construct these false identities especially ones that are impossible, detrimental, or both in most cases.

I truly wonder if Phil is trying to create a black hole with the amount of stupid ideological stands he takes. The Pro-Muslim and antisemitism are great examples of this: one group he loves regardless of how he breaks the tenets of the faith by doing most of what he does, the other he hates for no reason and seem to actually wish them harm. As far the the contrast between communism and fascism goes, Phil knows how neither work so no surprise there and he will likely never change this. Still you would think that with all the free time he has he might actually examine some of his beliefs he holds so strongly, but he never does.

That would mean looking inward and that is a scary spooky place Phil never wants to go. Phil knows on a subconscious level all his problems stem from himself but his ego keeps making him obsessively look for outer problems even to point where he needs to make them to avoid maybe he's not the one lone protagonist in the Life movie.

I know the spiritual leader of one branch of Kemet. Lovely woman, and actually knowledgeable about Egyptian history from an academic perspective. And she would likely be utterly horrified by Phil.

You know I'd like to think his trend towards outright antisemitism and fascism would pretty much nuke his friends list. However, having read some of the totally insane "so far to the left you end up on the right" logic that some of the weirdos on Tumblr engage in, I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't find like minded people.

The funny thing is if he goes full Nazi its gonna be awfully hard for him to explain the whole Ahuviyah thing and his love of being Jewish just a few years ago to this new crowd.

Edit: Despite his antisemitism Phil is strangely making a sensible post correctly placing the blame on the Nazi's here? Though the way he says "Didn't need convincing to get rid of the jews" makes it seem like Phil thinks they need getting rid of too. Or maybe I'm reading too much into an autists diction. Overall I think this thing is really only on his radar because of Netanyahu's crazy ass attempt to blame the holocaust on Muslims and Phil currently has a Muhammad shaped boner.
