Who is going to tell phil about Argentina; a latin country with a female president, has recently been nationalising and moving into a more socialist economy which historically gave tacit support of certain german individuals and loves to protest anglo-colonialism?

Oh Goddammit. I've should've seen this coming. But a small part of me is slightly surprised that he sunk this low. But then again, he did worship Mao of all people.

He doesn't understand anything about the symbols he just flaunts them around so really he does appropriate other cultures. He's that strawman all the sjws cry about just wearing symbols and aspects of cultures he has no clue where their from or what they mean. Literally everything not slam into your face obvious are nuances he can't grasp. This is the man who became a Maoist because an anime gave him a stiffy and no other reason.

WOW. Netanyahu's statement is stupid, and designed to appeal to the bigotry of both Israeli hardliners and Western conservatives, but somehow Phil manages to seize up on it and come up with something even stupider. Somehow, I wouldn't be surprised if he was really into Mein Kampf, especially back in his uniform fetish days.
Those cartoons... just wow. Phil is very much stuck in the edgy high school phase, but his drawings are those of a ten year old. Why he thinks any of that would shock or intimidate any of us though is beyond me.
Also, 'queen of darkness and spiders and stuff?' LOL. Seriously? I wonder what Phil would think if he knew I kept black widows (specifically Latrodectus mactans, or southern widows, though I know people who breed other species). Nah, real arachnids are probably too scary for Phil.
Phil probably just copied that symbol. I doubt he even knows it's Egyptian origins, name or even meaning, but it was widely used as part of the Goth aesthetic throughout the 90s, from Vampire: the Masquerade to Death's necklace in Neil Gaiman's Sandman.
Also, Argentina's president is actually a hot woman, which Phil will never be. Maybe he's jealous.
Well, the West tends to overplay the atrocities Hitler committed (which were certainly horrible, don't get Mr wrong) while underplaying or ignoring Mao, Pol Pot, Idi Amin and the like. Both Stalin and Mao reached body counts that exceeded anything Hitler could dream of, in part because they had larger populations but also because they were much more indiscriminate about whom they killed. Hell, Pol Pot's policies pretty much explicitly wanted to destroy all vestiges of Cambodian culture and history and turn it into slave state.
While I think there are complex reasons why Mao isn't generally considered as bad as Hitler in the West, at least some of it boils down to Sinophiles like Phil going 'ZMOG so kawaii!!1!' about ANYTGING even remotely Chinese without realizing that Mao rather explicitly wanted to suppress and destroy many elements of traditional Chinese culture.
Looks at Phil's two page Sonichu and you can see that Phil is permanently in fluxed stuck as a mid 2000s high school boy trying to be edgy.
Phil's aesthetic has not really changed since 2004 it's still needs moar black, spikes, and faux animu. If Chris is roughly aging 10 years slower than usual Phil is perpetually stuck a 14 year old.

While I don't call copying a culture "appropriation" per se (as culture itself can't be stolen), it can be an issue when one just copies an element of a culture out of context without knowing the meaning behind it.
It's amusing when Phil comes across a subject and gains such an intense interest that he changes his identity, yet his understanding of the subject seems to be as deep as a kiddie pool. We're talking about someone who just decided he's "Latinx" and Puerto Rican just because J-Lo. I probably wouldn't be surprised if Phil's whole transgender identity began just because of a cartoon or anime as well.
And if we see a new Nazi phase from Phil, I'm guessing he's just going to parrot the most obvious Nazi stuff with more or less no real understanding of it, and it seems to be all because FB (which has a CEO with a "Jewish-sounding name") wouldn't let him change his name, and because a Jewish-run clinic wouldn't deprive him of his balls.

The classic example of cultural appropriation that most socjus people use is the white frat bro at Coachella with a Sioux war bonnet. And while taking a sacred part of someone else's culture and using it as a fashion statement without any understanding of what it means is a dumb thing to do, I'd argue that what Phil does is even worse. While the Coachella frat bro is completely ignorant of anything having to do with the Sioux, he just wants to get crunk and party. Phil wants to be the only authority on anything having to do with Maoism, Latin America, and trans issues, even after he can't bother to skim the Wikipedia articles.
