What a coincidence that the week Phil talks about chargebacks is the week that the person who stole his identity had spent a similar amount of money.
Phil really can't catch a break, can he? It's been tough, it has. Mentally ill trolls are so obsessed with him that they even predict Phil's actions.
Hopefully OIC will give him some money to get him through these tough times and to fight against the clairvoyant detractors.

Again, ripped off is a dumb as fuck take. It's art, people take inspiration from things, it's really not a big fucking deal. The trailer is different enough to be it's own thing. You can't copyright camera shots in the same way you can't copyright chord progressions.

Actually it's not. Again there are enough differences in there. Like I said, there are no copyrights on shot composition or even similarity of events. Its not like if this was a US or Japanese company there'd be a lawsuit. This shit is legal.

Well, I guess I just have higher standards than you, then.
No company would release something like this outside of china not because of any law-- which you're right, it doesn't break any of; nor did I claim it did lest 'ripping off' is a law I don't know of-- but because it'd be horribly embarrassing and they'd be ruthlessly and rightfully shamed for it.

These purchases are all coming from his checking account, while the chargebacks would hit his Paypal instead. He was refunding legitimate hundred dollar tips all the way into April of this year. I don't see why he'd do that unless he truly believed a chargeback was likely.
He exaggerated the problem for begging purposes, but this isn't the smoking gun disproving all the chargebacks like people are making it out to be.

I dont think anyone is saying he doesn't get chargebacks, the point is more that a -$48 paypal balance isnt really that big of a deal if you're still able to spend hundreds on itunes and liquor. He made it seem like he couldn't afford to pay bills because of chargebacks but he was still wasting money on retarded shit while these chargebacks were going on so obviously they weren't that much of a financial problem like he tried to make them seem.

One can't claim to have absolutely no money due to $1700 in chargebacks (10-7-2020) and not have transfers from the bank account back into paypal to cover them. He certainly didn't get $1700 in tips that day

Not to get off in the weeds but there's a loooong list of Chinese "art" that was completely lifted by Hollywood and much of the west and passed off as original for decades before China opened up.

This was legit the highlight of my day, I played this scene out in my head Daves voice and all and had a real good laugh out loud moment.
I can totally picture something like this, given how Dave have no real idea about history, geography or any other subject that makes you a well rounded human.
After reading this I'm really sad that he is likely putting FlightSim away without seeing him fly to Auschwitz, I'm sure that would have been a stream for the ages.
