I am okay now, went no contact with him last year. Sadly I didn't leave right after discovering the troonery because I was a dumb eighteen years old and didn't know shit about troons back then. He managed to gaslight me into thinking that you can either be a trans ally or a literal far-right fascists who wants every poor trans girl dead, and if I don't want to be a fascist, I need to magically convert myself (very hetero woman) into a pro-girldick lesbian. Lost a few years of my life, some dignity and a lot of self-esteem, but now it's over and I have a fairly good life (although I can't trust men now because I'm a bit paranoid they'll turn into troons eventually lol) while he occasionally seethes on Twitter about transphobic lesbians.

You really just had a classic “bad boyfriend” with a trans twist to it. Any other place a guy stealing your shit to pawn for drug money and then gaslighting you about him needing pain meds would have gotten him kicked to the curb. The fact that anyone would condone this behaviour because he’s stealing shit for a fetish is a dope. Dude wants to be a lady he can do it on his own dime.
And, if it makes you feel any better, I suspect a decent amount of folks on this thread lean left. Some are even LGB. Amongst all the “ew troon” posts there’s lots of genuine concern for folks falling into this, mutilating their bodies, pushing themselves into spaces meant for the other sex (and I don’t mean golf clubs I mean women’s shelters). So yeah, you can be all about lefty politics and still think this is an issue.

To be fair you can make the argument most tomboys essentially look like mid-prepubescent teenage boys, physically. And if anything lesbians are pretty well known to be attracted to tomboys, with butch being a thing and all. It's not so much about the "male" part but the androgyny. It's more ~valid~ for a lesbian to feel sexual attraction to a FTM who just looks like a woman with short hair, than a hulking neckbeard MTF in a ratty wig.

Presumably for the same reason as many, because there arent any other places where people can tall freely about how mad it is.
I have experience in this profession. The police in the UK are being forced to be responsible for an increasingly wide range of social problems that have nothing to do with crime.
Here is a brief bit of history from the last decade that shows how its evolved and how bad the police are at addressing social problems.
A decade ago a woman called Fiona Pilkington set out in her car with her severely disabled daugher for a short trip to a nearby layby.
On arrival she doused the car in petrol and set it alight with both her and hee daughter inside.
Fiona and her daughter had been the target of the attention of local youths which caused her distress. She rang the police many times, however the behaviour didnt amount to a crime. It was anti social behavior.
Of course something had to be done, and three concepts were either created afresh or redefined as a result of these deaths.
The first was anti social behaviour as something akin to crime which the police should be responsible for.
The second was multiagency working, which would facilitate the sharing of information between agencies who, it was thought, could address anti social behavior.
The third was vulnerability as a risk factor that would ensure enhanced response by agencies.
There is more to this story but the important thing to learn from this disasterous policy was about who it helped.
It was those who were well educated and financially comfortable that benefited. They would use the wide definition of ASB to have the police do their bidding, and knew what to say to get themselves labelled vulnerable.
The consequence was that the police spent all their time with the middle class and anyone like Fiona Pilkington, who this whole thing was designed to help, found it even harder to get the attention of authorities.
People had their careers turbo boosted for their work on this policy

So when i see the police in the UK engaging in social issues i know that theyre only serving elites. This tranny cop will end up as a superintendent within a few years despite being a below average officer with absolutely no redeeming qualities.

This makes sense, you see it in communities where people go through a really big shift. In the atheist community it’s pretty well accepted that the more fundie and evangelical you were the more of an asshole you’re going to be about your atheism. Most people get over it though they aren’t shooting hormones while leaving religion.
I’d actually like to see the science on this cancer business. Men certinly get HPVinfections but my understanding is that it rarely if ever causes cancer and is pretty invisible. What causes it to freak out in trans women? Is it the act of “inverting” the penis (basically having a hole) or is it the result of the hormones? Because if it’s the latter even non-op trans need screening.
I want to say it’s hormonal because it’s a virus and not a yeast/bacteria, but this is a potentially very interesting development.
All that aside, it’s still not a cervix. I suspect “terminus” is a better description as it is physiologically very different and importantly, doesn’t lead anywhere.

It's the only place they feel safe. Tifs are in some ways worse than Tims because their efforts at erasure of woman are more insidious and often apply to the medical side of things where it truly matters most. They are the root of the people with vagina aspect, cowing the world to their desires and propagating their own self-hatred and hate of their sex in ways that negatively affect all other women all while they're playing at being what they think is a desireable man which is a far cry from a real man as they're still just as uncomfortable and scared of actual men as they were before they became one.
There's an group of women treating hormones like a child's dress up game. They're dressed up and playing pretend and seem to have 0 idea of the long term dangerous consequences of high testosterone in women. It's why so many detrans are women, because they evetually realise how silly they look, the fun/play aspect loses its lustre as they grow and people become less tolerant and stop treating them with kid gloves.
There's this detrans girl on youtube right now who was a singer and quit because T started to ? What? affect her voice. Same with Milo Stuart. Both of these cases are perfect examples of this being a game to girls, then the consequences give them a surprised pikachu face. Then they want everyone to emotionally labour, coddle, and support them when it's a problem completely fabricated by them.
