Is it just me or did Phil do some kind of Freudian slip here and say "renigged" instead of "reneged"?

For context I started when he starts whining about the pushups but he says it at approx 34:49

He has pronounced it this way before. Recent memory is when that dirty troll reneged on his deal after Phil did 25 form-perfect pushups then dx crotch chopped the audience, off camera.

It's an alternate pronunciation. Compare with "renegade," which has the first 2 E's pronounced the same way. Although, being DSP, he obviously has to pick the worst pronunciation of a word already known for sounding gamer.

Renig is a deliberate and racist misspelling or mispronunciation of renege, just an FYI. "Don't re-nig" was used by people in 2012 as part of a campaign against Obama. While I'm sure it was a mispronunciation, there aren't alternate ways of pronouncing that are still correct.

As much as I love a good redemption story, I can also appreciate stuff like Catcher in the Rye. Phil might be the modern day Holden Caulfield, except he's a middle aged man.

I think he's more of a dumber version of Ignatius J. Reilly. Substitute Reilly's malfunctioning valve with post nasal drip, they both belch all the time, are alcoholics, live with their mom, think they're infallible, etc.

He's such a hermit that common knowledge has managed to escape him. If isn't in Renton or on doordash, he doesn't care about where it is. And if it isn't about wrestling, he doesn't care about the who, what, when or why.

It would be easier to name times he hasn't made a complete arse of himself. Even when he does get something right he manages it.

This reminds me of something one of my professors used to say. If you can't explain a concept to someone using simple language it's basically fake intelligence. Explaining things shouldn't take using big words a true sign of understanding anything is being able to explain in simple terms anyone could understand. That is how you know Phil and anyone like him js faking intelligence. But, we all knew that.

Plus it's still engagement, it still technically is a positive number. When I see DSP fanatics disliking my videos I laugh because I barely look at like to dislike ratio, for me it's just a boost in the search rankings.

Mind you my ego isn't as fragile as DSP's.
