I think that it's likely Ralph actually did like Faith and was trying to get with her. I think it lines up with faith GTFOing of Virginia. The way he supposedly acts makes sense driving drunk and driving dangerous, supposedly threatening her, screaming at his mother. Ralph is an hugely toxic person to be around, look at how he treated andy when they were living together.
