I fucking hate this shit. If a simulation is indistinguishable from reality, why the fuck does it matter if it's a simulation? And what is stopping the people doing the simulating from also being a simulation themselves? This garbage is just tech moguls and chronically-up-their-own-ass pop culture scientists trying to create their own religion to explain why they can't possibly hope to ever fully understand the nature of the universe.

If it's a simulation you might as well be a degenerate and a fatalist, in the same vein as creationists who believe the world is going to end and god will save us so why try to save our planet. I tried watching his streams twice and both were incredibly boring, consisting of him giving advice to people his own age and poorly telling stories about his teenage years. He doesn't teem to prepare and talks about how he was bullied whilst simultaneously trying to come off as if he was too cool for everyone. It remindes me of the youtuber who made the "WhY ArE YoU So anGrY?" video. Its like he wants to associate with those younger than himself so he can be the cool older guy who mentors them instead of the lazy little shit that get bullied.
