Also, how is this supposed to be a luxurious getaway? It’s a fairly basic and plain rustic bathroom. By God, you added a plant and some stick-on Home Depot linoleum tile.

Prove how fit you are and post yourself actually going on a run or instead of these repeated bathroom selfies. Post yourself at the gym with videos actually showing fitness.

Reading that summary of Ian’s stream made me depressed. Who can actually watch this? I feel like even the clipper on Reddit who uses the no Kiwifarms watermark has to be getting paid by h3 to do this because no one else can stomach it. That’s at least 12 hours a week of pain. The podcast was already painful but it was 1.5 hours every week or two and had Anisa saying retarded shit left and right.

Her dream getaway is this? Another mediocre and half hearted attempt at any sort of interior design? A few things that are notable in her “dream getaway”:
  • She chose beige and brown tile, despite being flanked by chrome fixtures and a shower rod that is presumably from Target.
  • The bath fixture is especially strange, it seems as if the shower head hose would always be in the way.
  • The mirror, I assume, is supposed to appear slightly organic and sculptural with the wooden framing, but the frame appears to be peeling or chipped already. I’m assuming it is not new and was bought at a garage sale, because they’re poor.
  • An oversized plant, in a concrete pot. Peak design from bathroom jungles on Pinterest, if it was done by someone wholly incompetent that half assed it. The concrete pot matches nothing else about the bathroom, there is nothing it aesthetically flows with. Oh and the gaudy LED light to throw off the warm lighting in the entire room is really a nice touch, with the loose hanging cord disappearing off to the side.
  • The wall cabinet is desperately trying to create some sort of mid century modern appeal but with the star design it looks even more out of place considering the industrial concrete planter and 80’s chrome fixtures.
  • The faded sage green towel desperately needs to be replaced. Unfortunately the sage green does not match with shit brown tiles.
  • The unibody countertop harkens back to the 70s, again creating a disjointed design language.
Combining the countertop with the builder grade faucet, lack of a quality soap dispenser and instead using a disposable half filled one, unclear glass design language between the containers (I guess all scalloped tinted glass is the same, right?) flanking the concrete planter, and then add in the headless toothbrush and crumpled toothpaste, with the chipped wooden mirror highlighting the shit brown and beige misaligned tile and the cabinet which is the only actual attempt at a mid century modern design aesthetic, which of course has even more random and unkempt plastic bottles ontop of it rather than inside, if this is Anisa’s idea of a dream getaway then I almost feel bad for her. Her dream is half-hearted mediocrity.

But this does also feel slightly on par. If I had to assume a random woman’s dream bathroom in lower-middle to middle class Edmonton, Alberta CA, I do think this is what I would picture in my head. The only thing that would be even more accurate is if she posted this on her personal Facebook for praise from moderately overweight friends and family members, where they reply “Girl that’s my dream bathroom 😍“.

What a far cry from the fast and loose days cosplaying as a successful, rich, glamorous LA streamer, living the big life. This is it now. This dream bathroom is now your prison. Enjoy.

The bathroom looks like complete trash. If I was a guest in their home the first thing I would say after taking a dump in their toilet is "you guys should really consider saving up and renovating your bathroom because it looks like fucking garbage".

I know the two times I have fully gutted and rebuilt our bathrooms, I get like ONE $10,000 Shower out of it and then we move somewhere with a low pressure black mold bathroom again
 
I frankly have a hard time viewing any of Ian's opinions as his own anyway rather than Hasan's by proxy through Anisa. This one is definitely Anisa driven though.

Did consider that, but I think this early run was very short and didn't get a home release? The chances of her watching it back then, catching a very rare live airing of the 2-3eps where he transforms seems really small... And Anisa is a huge liar so that was the biggest factor in referencing the 2003 run.
