I do not think we are talking about decades here..maybe weeks. South Africa has an unemployment rate hovering around 35% AIDS was going around...

You could use exactly the same comment to describe any country in South America and you'd still be hitting the nail on the head.

Never forget that time when people believed that South Africa was going to be a major economic power along side Russia, Brazil and India.

Some would say this describes the U.S. these days too. lol
