You don't even need to pressure treat it, waxing and oiling works fine too, as does Shou Sugi ban. Like I said, they did it wrong but wooden...

It looks like he recycled the old hot-tub, so it could well be treated. Or at least it was, once upon a time, since troons do fuck all in the line...
