I have no doubt she is a full blown alcoholic. I also have no doubt her, very sadly, dysfunctional son, is the direct fault of her drinking.

There's no contradiction. Nobody drinks a *glass* of whiskey or vodka. You drink whiskey and vodka out of a TUMBLER. Don't you know these things...
