I don't think they're mentioning it to make the wife look bad - I think they're mentioning it because Ryan said it to every single one of them...

it’s a tough spot because it probably IS the reason he gave the all, and it feels prudent to include when they make their long-winded...

This is absolutely not on his wife, whether she slept with him regularly or not. Fucking him more wouldn't have prevented this. Not even the dumb...
