Yes. I vaguely recall people in this thread pointing out the same thing back when it happened. Toys R Us was obsolete because of online shopping...

Toys R us isn't dead in the US. They've been using Target for their distribution, but now have enough funds to start expanding out again.

Not to mention Toys R Us was putting smaller mom and pop toy and game stores out of business in its time. There's always a bigger fish.
