Not an expert, but I don't think drones are controlled over the innurnet. Still, to be on the safe side, one might look at the many fine products...

long and short, no. the connection between the drone and the phone is direct, or near as makes no difference, because they form a wifi mesh...

Others have already covered this but where there's a will there's a way, especially in the world of RF. I'm sure you could do what you're thinking...
