They pretty much copy-pasted parts from old books to the new one. The tables are a gigantic mess.

Mage was an amazing idea and a reasonably well built system (for 1993) tied to an incredibly shitty metaplot and setting that didn't even match...

Fixing the Technocracy was a nice move, but the Disparates were stupid as hell and basically just there to score social justice good boy points...
