My parents never gave me a 'police talk', they never had to. They did give me a 'never relax around blacks' talk though.

Heck even the civil libertarians (that I know of) that say "The police are not your friend, do not trust the police" make it a point to carry out...

The system is corrupt, just not in the way that these people want to believe. The police in urban areas, generally speaking, are just working...
