You can see them in mirrors and shieeeet. I'm not kidding. That was CDPR's response.

I assume mirrorred surfaces still exist in the game and they need to know what to reflect.

Knowing CDPR, they'll probably add it back in later. Release the game now in a working state and reap in the money, then spend a year or two...
